Overview
Filecraft is a file conversion utility developed by Last Light Labs. Your privacy is fundamental to how we build this app. Filecraft performs all file conversions entirely on your device — no data is ever sent to external servers.
Data Collection
Filecraft does not collect any personal data, usage data, or analytics of any kind. There are no analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking frameworks embedded in the app.
Network Access
Filecraft makes no network requests. The app does not include any networking permissions or configurations (there is no NSAppTransportSecurity entry in the app's Info.plist). All functionality operates fully offline.
On-Device Processing
All file conversions are performed locally on your device using Apple system frameworks including PDFKit, CoreGraphics, UIKit, Contacts, EventKit, and Foundation. No files or data are transmitted to any cloud service or remote server for processing.
Conversion History
Filecraft stores a local conversion history in UserDefaults on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can delete your conversion history at any time from the Settings screen.
In-App Purchases
Filecraft offers a single one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. Filecraft never sees, processes, or stores any payment information. All transaction data is managed by Apple.
Third-Party Advertising
Filecraft contains no third-party advertising. There are no ad SDKs, ad networks, or promotional tracking tools of any kind in the app.
Third-Party Libraries
Filecraft uses two open-source libraries — ZIPFoundation and CoreXLSX — for archive and spreadsheet support. These libraries operate entirely on-device and do not collect or transmit any data.
Children's Privacy
Since Filecraft does not collect any data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary. The app is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be included in a future app update with an updated effective date.
